I thought it would be interesting to record the progress of creating an abstract painting layer by layer. Seeing the added complexity come out of the canvas as each new color or element is added. I've added them below in case anyone else finds the same amusement. 

I decided to add a line drawing of the female form in purple to finish the painting. I left the lines a little messier and thicker for a different feeling from the base. I always enjoy juxtaposition in art pieces. The final result :
